Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your account and the data linked to it in the Faby app (iOS and Android, com.ay.masalai), developed by Yelkovan.ai (Yiğit Özdemir).
1. Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Faby and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- On the home screen, tap Profile.
- Complete the parent check if asked.
- In the Account Actions section, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog. For security, you may be asked to sign in again.
2. Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, have uninstalled it, or used it as a guest, you can send your deletion request by email:
- To: info@yelkovan.ai
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include: the email address linked to your account (the address you signed in with via Google, Apple or email) or the friend code shown in the app (My Friend Code).
To verify your identity, we may ask you to write from the email address linked to your account or to provide additional details. Stories created as a guest are deleted automatically after 7 days anyway.
3. What is deleted
The following data is deleted from our servers:
- Account details (email address, display name, account ID)
- Child (character) profile
- Stories, story requests and AI request records
- Drawings
- Voice samples and voice clones
- Photos and photo analysis results
- Content reports
- Friendships and gift records
- Your analytics profile
- Notification queue entries
Unused coins and subscription benefits end with the account; a deleted account cannot be restored.
4. What is kept, and why
- Purchase records: Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep purchase records as required for tax and accounting.
- Anonymised or aggregated statistics: statistics that do not identify anyone may be kept.
- Raw analytics event records: deleted automatically 365 days after they were created.
- Backups: deleted data may persist for a limited period in backups.
- Service providers: data previously sent to AI providers is subject to those providers' own retention terms.
- Legal requirements: data we must keep because of a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute is kept for as long as that requirement applies.
5. Processing time
Deletion requests are completed within 30 days at the latest. For email requests, we will let you know when the deletion is complete.
6. Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your Faby account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop being charged, cancel it in your store account:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Faby → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Faby → Cancel subscription
7. Deleting some data without deleting your account
If you want to keep your account but have specific data deleted (e.g. a voice sample, a voice clone or drawings), write to info@yelkovan.ai.
